Chicken Parmesan Sliders



These Chicken Parmesan Sliders are a miniaturized version of the classic Italian-American dish. Tender chicken breast is breaded, fried until golden, then topped with marinara sauce and melted cheese, all sandwiched between soft slider buns.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slider buns
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375F 190C

Season chicken slices with salt and pepper

In separate bowls, place flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs

Dredge each chicken slice in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat

Cook chicken slices until golden brown on both sides, about 3 minutes per side

Transfer chicken slices to a baking dish

Top each with marinara sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly

Slice slider buns in half

Place a chicken Parmesan slice on each bottom bun, then cover with the top bun

Serve hot and enjoy!
