Nutter Butter Acorns Cookie Treats

These adorable Nutter Butter Acorns Cookie Treats combine creamy peanut butter, dark chocolate, and crunchy pretzels. Ideal for autumn-themed parties or a fun family activity!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Nutter Butter cookies
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup chocolate sprinkles
  • Mini pretzel twists
  • Green decorating icing

Instructions:

To make the chocolate smooth and creamy, melt the white chocolate chips and semisweet chocolate chips in separate bowls in the microwave or over a double boiler

Let any extra chocolate drip off as you dip the top half of each Nutter Butter cookie into the melted semisweet chocolate

Put them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to set

Put a mini chocolate chip in the middle of each dipped cookie to look like the acorn cap while the chocolate is still wet

Put the powdered sugar and peanut butter in a small bowl and mix them together until they are well mixed

Put the mix in a piping bag or a sandwich bag made of plastic that has had the corner cut off

Spread a little peanut butter mixture on the flat side of a mini pretzel twist

Then, press it onto the bottom of each Nutter Butter cookie to make the stem of the acorn

Put some of the melted white chocolate on top of each cookie to make them look nicer

Chocolate sprinkles can be added to wet white chocolate to make it more interesting

The cookies should be set for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until the chocolate is hard

To make each cookie look like an acorn, pipe a small leaf next to the pretzel stem with green decorating icing as shown

Your Nutter Butter Acorns Cookie Treats are ready to eat once everything has dried out and set
