Easy Classic Chili
A quick and hearty chili recipe perfect for busy weeknights or cozy weekends. Packed with flavor and simple ingredients, this classic chili is sure to become a family favorite.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can 14
- 5 oz diced tomatoes
- 1 can 15 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can 15 oz tomato sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a large pot, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned
Add chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic
Cook until vegetables are tender
Stir in diced tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato sauce, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper
Bring to a simmer and let cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary
Serve hot, garnished with your favorite toppings such as shredded cheese, sour cream, or chopped green onions
